OOTD: Purple & Chocolate Brown

I'm exhausted from a long day of teaching and grading, so I'm going to make this a quick OOTD post. This was another quickly thrown together outfit that I think turned out alright. Surprisingly, I don't think I've ever paired this deep purple dress with brown before. I always love this color combo when I see it on others so here's my take on it:

Dress: Target, Converse
Cardigan: NY&Co
Belt: Target
Necklace: Maurices
Suede Ballet Flats: Lands End


I love that I can wear this dress in the summer and in the fall and create totally different looks just by changing the color palette and accessories. What's one of your favorite pieces in your wardrobe that works for multiple seasons?

    Purple really suits you, you've got the colours working perfectly.
    hmmm...i'm going to have to say the Mullany dress is one of my faves. I wore it during winter (with tights), and i plan to wear it in Spring (with a lightweight cardi or wrap), summer (by itself) and fall (with boots?)!
